This is a working prototype of a digital auction marketplace for scrap and metal: anyone can browse, a verified enterprise can bid, and nine roles carry a lot from a seller’s yard through inspection, live bidding and delivery to a settled invoice. Every figure on these screens is seeded demo data.

Verified sellers clear enterprise KYC on both sides of the trade, a field team inspects every lot before it is listed, and payment releases once delivery is confirmed against GST-compliant documentation.

The money and the bids, on one screen.

A buyer lands on what needs a decision today: earnest money that has to be funded before a deadline, a lot that has just been outbid, and a balance payment holding up a delivery order. Catalogues are shortlisted first and earnest money is funded per lot, then the room that opens is live — rates quoted per unit, rival identities masked, and a bid inside the final three minutes extends that lot by three more.

The chain behind the sale

The sale is not done until the lot leaves the yard.

Operations sees every lot on the platform in one board, from a seller’s submission through inspection to resolution — catalogues stay private until a manager takes one to the auction schedule. Sellers get a live read on their own catalogue with no way to see who is bidding or intervene while the clock runs, and an operator can pause or extend a running sale at once; cancelling is escalated, because that is not one person’s decision. Winning is the middle of the process: a won lot becomes a delivery order that has to clear payment, a gate pass, a weighbridge and a lifting deadline.
